Il lavoro di tesi si concentra sull'identificazione dei principali impatti ambientali derivanti dalla presenza di un porto turistico e l'analisi dei principali sistemi di gestione ambientale quali EMAS ed ISO 14001, mettendone alla luce peculiarità e criticità, infine presentato un protocollo di Gestione e monitoraggio ambientale per lo sviluppo sostenibile nei porti turistici.
