In this work, the goal is to show, from many points of view, the advantages that companies of any field can derive from the Cloud Computing paradigm, by analyzing several aspects of it and in which way it is possible to conceive this type of paradigm and everything that derives from it, that is to say the capacity of calculation, data storage and network communication, which are trasmitted from client machines to Data Centers. At first, the administration procedures of the internal components and the relationship with Green Computing, today's key point, have been analyzed and subsequently the creation of the Software-defined Data Center through virtualization concepts of the various components making up the DC. In addition, the possible risks of both Cloud Computing and IaaS exploiting virtualization were assessed.

Abstract
In this work, the goal is to show, from many points of view, the advantages that companies of any field can derive from the Cloud Computing paradigm, by analyzing several aspects of it and in which way it is possible to conceive this type of paradigm and everything that derives from it, that is to say the capacity of calculation, data storage and network communication, which are trasmitted from client machines to Data Centers. At first, the administration procedures of the internal components and the relationship with Green Computing, today's key point, have been analyzed and subsequently the creation of the Software-defined Data Center through virtualization concepts of the various components making up the DC. In addition, the possible risks of both Cloud Computing and IaaS exploiting virtualization were assessed.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
