the combination of form and structure is one of the oldest and most rooted concepts of architecture in all ages. The achievement of structurally effective and structurally studied forms represents an end of many architectural cultures in which the form is not an entity that is an end in itself but represents a correct structural objective. il coniugio tra forma e struttura è uno dei più antichi e radicati concetti dell'architettura di tutte le epoche.

Abstract
the combination of form and structure is one of the oldest and most rooted concepts of architecture in all ages. The achievement of structurally effective and structurally studied forms represents an end of many architectural cultures in which the form is not an entity that is an end in itself but represents a correct structural objective. New methods of verification of structures, optimization algorithms allow the development of different formal solutions that at the same time meet precise structural objectives, such as the minimization of weight and cost, but the maximization of safety. In this perspective one of the architectural objects that par excellence represents the fusion between form and structure are the bridges. Therefore, the design of a system of bridges and footbridges will be developed that can connect parts of cities separated by elements of physical or infrastructural discontinuities.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
