A low-code platform is a "Platform that enables rapid delivery of business applications with a minimum of hand-coding and minimal upfront investment in setup, training, and deployment". This thesis describes the development of a low-code platform for distributed workflows using code generation techniques. The development is divided in two main segments: the first one consists in developing a DSL capable of describing the scenario and use the DSL as input for a meta-model template-driven code generator; the second one consists in developing a plug-in based visual modeler that maps the user defined sequence diagram into the DSL to input it into the code generator. The development incorporates the test-driven approach and architectural patterns.

Abstract
A low-code platform is a "Platform that enables rapid delivery of business applications with a minimum of hand-coding and minimal upfront investment in setup, training, and deployment". This thesis describes the development of a low-code platform for distributed workflows using code generation techniques. The development is divided in two main segments: the first one consists in developing a DSL capable of describing the scenario and use the DSL as input for a meta-model template-driven code generator; the second one consists in developing a plug-in based visual modeler that maps the user defined sequence diagram into the DSL to input it into the code generator. The development incorporates the test-driven approach and architectural patterns.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
