L’ACQUEDOTTO DEL SELE-CALORE: DALLA GRANDE OPERA INGEGNERISTICA ALLE OPPORTUNITÀ DI SVILUPPO E TURISMO SOSTENIBILE

The work involved careful research on the great engineering work of the Sele Calore Aqueduct, from conception to construction. On a large part of the Aqueduct there is a cycle path, partly already existing and partly to be built, which can be traveled on foot and by bicycle, which represents a unique opportunity to get to know the territory that crosses it with important implications on the development of the Regions also through the sustainable tourism, a good practice that has been spreading in recent years, especially in the post Covid phase.

Il lavoro ha riguardato un attenta ricerca relativa alla grande opera ingegneristica dell’Acquedotto del Sele Calore, dall’ideazione alla realizzazione. Su di buona parte dell’Acquedotto esiste una Ciclovia, in parte già esistente e in parte da realizzare percorribile a piedi e in bicicletta, che rapprensenta un’opportunità unica per conoscere il territorio che lo attraversa con risvolti importati sullo sviluppo delle Regioni anche attraverso il turismo sostenibile, una buona pratica che si sta diffondendo neglio ultimi anni, sopratutto nella fase post Covid.
