An economic technique for the pitch control of a wind turbine with blades rigidly connected to the hub could be developed by changing the geometry of the blade or modifing the angle between the mean line of the blade and the radial direction (in actual applications this directions coincide). The aim of the proposed thesis is to verify, for a 20 kW wind turbine - lenght of the blade 9.5 m - if this kind of control is suitable and to study the economic advantage obtained adopting this control technique.

Abstract
An economic technique for the pitch control of a wind turbine with blades rigidly connected to the hub could be developed by changing the geometry of the blade or modifing the angle between the mean line of the blade and the radial direction (in actual applications this directions coincide). The aim of the proposed thesis is to verify, for a 20 kW wind turbine - lenght of the blade 9.5 m - if this kind of control is suitable and to study the economic advantage obtained adopting this control technique.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
