Parkinson's disease is the second most common chronic, progressive neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's disease. Unfortunately, it progresses slowly over time and causes impairments at the motor and cognitive levels. Recent studies have shown the effectiveness of vibro-tactile stimulation in reducing some symptoms such as tremor. In this context, the following thesis proposes to develop an electromechanical model of an audio exciter through which it is possible to deliver controlled vibratory stimuli that allow neurons to desynchronize. The developed model integrates electrical and mechanical components and allows to evaluate the dynamic behavior of the device in response to specific signals provided as input. To perform analyses and simulations, the use of Matlab, Simulink and LTspice was planned. In this way, it was possible to identify limits and advantages associated with this technology, work on any critical issues and optimize the working conditions of the exciter to improve its functioning.

Abstract
In this way, it was possible to identify limits and advantages associated with this technology, work on any critical issues and optimize the working conditions of the exciter to improve its functioning.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
