The aim of this thesis is to create an artificial vision system, capable of monitoring industrial production lines. Recent market research shows that in recent years, companies have been combining traditional management systems with modules that acquire the acquisition and sending of data to field systems and industrial machinery. In this context, the computer vision system would acquire further data that the sensors of the machines do not allow to detect. The data collected can be integrated into SCADA / MES or management systems already present on the market. The main feature of the computer vision system will be to acquire a video stream from predefined positions along one or more production lines, which will be processed in order to recognize and count moving parts. In an experimental way, a convolutional neural network will be introduced into the system, which will allow to recognize the possible presence of external agents near the line; thus fulfilling the role of safeguarding the line itself. In addition, a third-party library dedicated to the recognition of Barcodes and QR codes will be introduced, which will automatically use the installation of the machinery in the SCADA system.

Abstract
In addition, a third-party library dedicated to the recognition of Barcodes and QR codes will be introduced, which will automatically use the installation of the machinery in the SCADA system.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
