The environmental situation of our planet has become alarming. In particular, the construction sector plays a fundamental role in this area as it is responsible for almost 40% of total energy consumption. Residential buildings built with attention to energy and environmental savings are still not widespread even if, a change of direction has begun especially in Northern Europe, allowing for ever greater technical and technological experimentation, starting with widespread construction. The development on the territory of sustainable residences is an important starting point in the strategy of the large-scale diffusion of innovative technologies, advantageous in terms of both energy and environmental and economic savings. The residential project under study demonstrates the concrete possibility of creating sustainable architectures, integrating these technologies with morphological and typological choices that support even the most complex forms. This translates into a conspicuous reduction in energy savings, achieved thanks to skilful architectural design using techniques with a bioclimatic approach, to the integration of plant technologies such as photovoltaics and the recovery of rainwater, which help to limit the needs of the settlement. To verify the actual environmental sustainability of the project with the relative advantages compared to buildings with traditional solutions, the case study was subjected to LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) analysis, calculating the impacts it generates on the environment in terms of primary energy CED (Cumulative Energy Demand) and GWP (Global Warming Potential).

Abstract
The environmental situation of our planet has become alarming. CO2 emissions into the atmosphere are now unsustainable and the problem of increasing energy consumption affects every human activity with growing concern. To verify the actual environmental sustainability of the project with the relative advantages compared to buildings with traditional solutions, the case study was subjected to LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) analysis, calculating the impacts it generates on the environment in terms of primary energy CED (Cumulative Energy Demand) and GWP (Global Warming Potential).I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
