The discipline of geomatics plays a fundamental role in the acquisition, processing and modelling of three-dimensional data and is widely used in land planning, design and management. In fact, using suitable instrumentation and appropriate survey techniques, it is possible to support planning activities and graphically represent the surveyed scene both on a cartographic basis and in the elaboration of three-dimensional models georeferenced in a suitable reference system. This work will illustrate a traditional survey methodology for 3D modelling integrated with a survey with GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) technology for the generation of a polygonal mesh. In particular, for the application of this methodology, the "Masseria Scasserba", located in the territory of Grottaglie (TA), was chosen as the study area. The structure was surveyed using a Disto Laser and, through 3D modelling software, an accurate three-dimensional model was elaborated to represent the actual state of the site. In order to model the neighbouring area, a survey was carried out with a GNSS receiver for the acquisition of a series of points and the subsequent creation of a georeferenced 3D mesh of the topographical surface; this surface was then integrated with the model of the structure for a correct three-dimensional representation of the farmhouse.

Abstract
In order to model the neighbouring area, a survey was carried out with a GNSS receiver for the acquisition of a series of points and the subsequent creation of a georeferenced 3D mesh of the topographical surface; this surface was then integrated with the model of the structure for a correct three-dimensional representation of the farmhouse.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
