Abstract
The thesis investigates the re-evaluation of the error in contemporary design. Starting from the beginning of the last century and following a design mutation that has evolved through the development of new machines in serial production, the role of craftsmanship as guarantor of surplus value to the product is deepened. This in fact will deviate from the monotonous and a-personal form obtained thanks to a serial process and will become the bearer of a new communication system based on the incomplete, the imperfect and the chance. Through the experiences of the great masters such as Munari and Mari, the role of the defect that has long been forgotten to give space to an incessant search for perfection will be rediscovered.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
