Human life is full of rituals, from great moments to small episodes that mark everyday life, and these take place in places rich in objects within which the designer can fit. The thesis investigates precisely the rituality, in particular, that linked to the world of seafarers, and its folk origins, we started from our native cities, the maritime cities of Bisceglie and Molfetta, and then we deepened the folklore, rites, and objects related to the latter for the design of a project with high innovative content.

La vita umana è piena di riti, dai grandi momenti ai piccoli episodi che scandiscono la quotidianità, e questi avvengono in luoghi ricchi di oggetti all’interno dei quali il designer può inserirsi. La tesi indaga proprio sulla ritualità, in particolare, quella legata al mondo dei naviganti, e le sue origini folkloristiche, siamo partite dalle nostre città natali, le città marittime di Bisceglie e Molfetta, e ne abbiamo quindi approfondito il folklore, i riti, e gli oggetti legati a questi ultimi per l’ideazione di un progetto ad alto contenuto innovativo.561
