The thesis work consists in the design study of a pedalbox for the new electric car of Formula SAE PolibaCorse team. Initially, a kinematic study was carried out together with the calculation of the parameters of the brake pedal and accelerator geometry. Subsequently, 3D modeling of the brake pedal, accelerator pedal, and various supports was carried out using SolidWorks software. When the forces acting on the components were obtained, FEM analyses were performed using the Solidworks Simulation module. The results show high safety factor values, small deformations and displacements, which are therefore satisfactory for future use. Among all the components, the brake pedal was the most oversized, and was subjected to topological optimization in order to lighten it. The thesis ends by exposing solutions to any problems and suggestions on future updates.

The thesis work consists in the design study of a pedalbox for the new electric car of Formula SAE PolibaCorse team. The results show high safety factor values, small deformations and displacements, which are therefore satisfactory for future use. Among all the components, the brake pedal was the most oversized, and was subjected to topological optimization in order to lighten it. The thesis ends by exposing solutions to any problems and suggestions on future updates.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
