SVILUPPO DI METODI PER IL TEST DI ACCELEROMETRI MEMS

The continuous development of technologies in smartphones has significantly increased their usability. The role of sensors is crucial in the development of new applications and functionalities. It is therefore necessary to implement effective and low-cost procedures to ensure that the data collected is correct. In this thesis, a method was developed for testing the accelerometer in the smartphone, its characteristics were described, tests were conducted and their results commented.

Il continuo sviluppo delle tecnologie presenti nello smartphone ne ha accresciuto notevolmente le possibilità di utilizzo. Il ruolo dei sensori è cruciale nell’ambito dello sviluppo di nuove applicazioni e funzionalità. Risulta quindi necessario implementare procedure efficaci e a basso costo per garantire che i dati raccolti siano corretti. In questa tesi si è sviluppato un metodo per il test dell’accelerometro presente nello smartphone, ne sono state descritte le caratteristiche e sono stati illustrati i test condotti e commentati i relativi risultati.
