Abstract

Recent advances in wireless communications and smart device technologies have promoted the proliferation of the Internet of Things (IoT), a phenomenon that will allow millions of physical objects to be interconnected to the Internet. Sixth generation wireless networks (6G) represent the crossroads for the birth of the Internet of Things (IoT) functional to the revolution of the services offered to customers and to a future increasingly composed of intelligent and autonomous systems. This profound evolution will also have a strong impact on the security environment, favoring the emergence of new players capable of creating a series of threats to the security of all Internet-connected devices that will contain large amounts of data sensitive. In this context, the Searchable Encryption technique is an effective way to protect sensitive user data, preserving the search for encrypted data without leaking information in the unencrypted data. The aim of the thesis was to conduct performance analyzes on the average durations of encryption and decryption operations on smart devices detected by limited computational resources.

STUDY AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF SEARCHABLE ENCRYPTION ALGORITHMS ON CONSTRAINED DEVICES
