Deep Learning algorithms are an extremely promising instrument in artificial intelligence, achieving very high performance in numerous recognition, identification, and classification tasks. The thesis is linked to the ALOHA research project (https://www.aloha-h2020.eu/), which aims to facilitate the implementation of DL on embedded platforms and concerns the study and development of a demonstrator that validates the approach in the industrial environment. In the initial phase is analysed the state-of-the-art technologies and tools related to deep learning (Tensorflow, PyTorch ) and robotics (ROS, Gazebo). The second phase involves the development and simulation of a demonstrator that integrates a speech recognition module with an artificial vision system and a robotic arm to carry out selection by vocal command and pick and place of objects.
