Abstract

Quantum communication is used for the transmission of quantum information, based on the concept of entanglement. To guarantee greater distances, quantum repeaters and the entanglement swapping operation have been introduced. There are many challenges associated with this new area of study, it is still in its infancy. The aim of this work is the realization and testing of a routing algorithm for the distribution of the entanglement over long distances, respecting the limit imposed by the decoherence time, using different topologies.

ANALYSIS AND STUDY OF ENTANGLEMENT DISTRIBUTION IN QUANTUM NETWORKS WITH VARIABLE TOPOLOGY
