This thesis focuses on the study and experimental characterization of tensile specimens made using the mechanical interlocking technique, applied to components made of Nylon Black (PA6) and glass fiber-filled Nylon (PA6 GF). The primary objective of the research is to evaluate the effectiveness of this slicing technique, also analyzing how the presence of the reinforcement phase influences material deformation during the filament-based 3D printing process. The experimental activity involves the fabrication of specimens and the subsequent execution of tensile tests to determine their ultimate strength, elongation at failure, and failure mode (ductile or brittle). The results aim to define the optimal process parameters to ensure the structural stability of the specimen, also comparing the performance of the base polymer with that of its reinforced variant.

Abstract
The results aim to define the optimal process parameters to ensure the structural stability of the specimen, also comparing the performance of the base polymer with that of its reinforced variant.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
