This thesis analyzes the role of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and digital tools in strengthening management control in complex public construction projects. The analysis is developed through the case study of the WSUR Brownstones Heating Upgrade project, in which Dynamic US Inc. operates as Construction Manager. The research examines how operational data, collected through the Procore platform, can be used to build a KPI system aimed at measuring the main dimensions of project performance. The results highlight that the effectiveness of control depends not only on digital tools, but also on management’s ability to define and interpret consistent indicators. The integration of KPIs and digital platforms enables more structured monitoring and more timely decision-making.

Abstract
This thesis analyzes the role of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and digital tools in strengthening management control in complex public construction projects. The analysis is developed through the case study of the WSUR Brownstones Heating Upgrade project, in which Dynamic US Inc. operates as Construction Manager. The research examines how operational data, collected through the Procore platform, can be used to build a KPI system aimed at measuring the main dimensions of project performance. The results highlight that the effectiveness of control depends not only on digital tools, but also on management’s ability to define and interpret consistent indicators. The integration of KPIs and digital platforms enables more structured monitoring and more timely decision-making.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
