Bone tissue is very important for the mobility of human beings, however it is subject to various stresses during everyday life. Furthermore, there can also be tragic events such as accidents that can limit or cause loss of motor skills. For this reason, scientists and engineers have worked to resolve any damage to bone tissue and have created the exoskeleton, a sort of suit wearable by humans that allows the engineering of bone tissue, that is to be able to replicate the functions of this tissue and in some cases even improve the physical abilities of men. During my thesis internship I carried out a detailed analysis on exoskeletons, what they are, what types are present, their characteristics and their application sectors. I dedicated an insight into the MATE XT exoskeleton of the Italian company Comau and examined the challenges on exoskeletons that engineers and designers still face today.
