L'Internet of Things (IoT) rappresenta un paradigma molto discusso in questi anni.

Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) represents a discussed paradigm in recent years. The basic idea is to aggregate any things of daily use into the digital world, for adding features and functions that simplify the user experience. Over time, the implemented technologies have become increasingly simple to use and they reached everyone. In addition to this, factors such as scalability, interoperability and adaptability have allowed the diffusion of this technology in many sectors, using a large variety of devices. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and implement an IoT network, composed of devices with low computational capacity and low memory. After the modeling of the architecture is implemented and tested a prototype. The IoT devices used are integrated via Raspberry Pi. The goal is to create an easily reproducible and mutable network, this network need to be simple to initialize and easily adaptable to various scenarios. The network consists of two Blockchains, the first private, responsible for connecting all IoT devices to an Edge-Computer; the second, public, allows the Edge-Computer to save the results, obtained from IoT data processing, in a shared and secure network. The Edge-Computer therefore acts as a separator between the Internet and IoT devices; these avoid that they are directly exposed on the Internet and at the same time make the management of the collected data simpler and less expensive in terms of resources. The idea behind this organization is to allow the use of Blockchain in scenarios where there are many IoT devices. For both Blockchains is used Ethereum platform, this because it is more intuitive to implement than the others, compatible with various operating systems and adaptable to different processor architectures. This network must allow the exchange and processing of data from IoT devices, beyond this, it must be inaccessible from the outside, it must remain active after partial malfunctions, it must preserve data in case of temporary disconnections; the network must allow adding new IoT devices and it must keep immutable the saved data. After the implementation there will be an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the architecture. Finally, based on the results, possible improvements and future developments of the project are proposed.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
