INFRASTRUTTURE VERDI PER LA MOBILITA' SOSTENIBILE: LE GREENWAYS

This study focuses on the definition and understanding of the concepts of sustainable mobility and Greenways, contextualizing with particular attention the current legislation concerning the design of cycling infrastructures. Through the analysis of international, national, regional and local examples, it aims to provide a comprehensive overview of best practices in the sector. Furthermore, a design hypothesis is proposed for the construction of a Greenway in the territory of the Municipality of Taranto, focusing attention on the outcropping section of the Triglio Aqueduct along the route along the Taranto-Statte.

Il presente studio si focalizza sulla definizione e comprensione dei concetti di mobilità sostenibile e Greenways, contestualizzando con particolare attenzione la normativa vigente concernente la progettazione di infrastrutture ciclabili. Attraverso l'analisi di esempi internazionali, nazionali, regionali e locali, si intende fornire una panoramica esaustiva delle migliori pratiche nel settore. Inoltre, viene proposta un'ipotesi di progettazione per la realizzazione di una Greenway nel territorio del Comune di Taranto, focalizzando l'attenzione sul tratto affiorante dell’Acquedotto del Triglio nel percorso lungo la Taranto-Statte.
