The use of SPD in Data Center is a very exciting topic as it is expected that climate changes and the increase of earth temperature will lead to stronger storm and lightings. My research is of interest not only for LV with generated distribution for small cities but also for off-shore plants where wind turbines are subjected to direct lighting. Using data coming from a system composed of antennas and GPS or meteorological data I can predict the worst situation for plant, and support the decision about a possible discharge.
L'attraverso l'analisi di dati sperimentali, analizzo quali sono i rischi per Data Center, derivanti da una fulminazione indiretta e quali sono le migliori tipologie di protezioni da adottare.
