The present research focuses on experimenting with differentiated cementitious mortars using sawdust sludge obtained from a sawmill in Trani as an aggregate. The primary objective is to analyze the mechanical performance of these mortars to assess their compliance with UNI standards for construction use. The methodology involves gradually replacing the traditional aggregate (sand) with sawdust sludge, followed by a thorough analysis of the workability characteristics of the resulting mixture. The parameters obtained through this experimentation will be compared against the acceptability standards established by UNI for mortars in construction. The ultimate ambition of this research is to contribute to environmental sustainability in the construction sector by utilizing recyclable materials, aiming to develop high-quality cementitious composites.
