The following thesis aims to analyze the sustainability of production processes in the textile industry to identify operations characterized by a high environmental impact. In this regard, after identifying intervention techniques and methods, primarily the Best Available Techniques, a quantitative analysis was conducted on the impact of such techniques, both end-of-pipe and in-process, on water and energy consumption, and wastewater production.

Abstract

The following thesis aims to analyze the sustainability of production processes in the textile industry to identify operations characterized by a high environmental impact. In this regard, after identifying intervention techniques and methods, primarily the Best Available Techniques, a quantitative analysis was conducted on the impact of such techniques, both end-of-pipe and in-process, on water and energy consumption, and wastewater production.

BEST AVAILABLE TECHNIQUES: STUDY OF THE IMPACT OF END-OF-PIPE AND IN-PROCESS METHODS IN THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY
