PETIT, LUCE IN EQUILIBRIO

This thesis focuses on a specific area of ​​design, lighting product design, with a particular focus on the Davide Groppi company, which served as the primary design reference. The challenge, even before defining the concept, was to design a lighting device with the intent of expressing profound concepts that engage our senses and evoke emotions, starting from the hypothesis that people seek solutions that go far beyond mere function. Through the use of tools such as bibliographic research, experimentation, data collection, and analysis, the previously presented objectives were achieved, resulting in important technical and formal observations and design outcomes.

Al centro di questo elaborato vi è lo studio di un ambito specifico del design, quale il lighting product design, approfondendo in particolare modo l’azienda Davide Groppi, usata come principale riferimento progettuale. Il problema posto, prima ancora di definire il concept è stato quello di progettare un dispositivo illuminotecnico, con l’intento di esprimere concetti profondi che coinvolgono i nostri sensi e suscitano emozioni, partendo dall’ipotesi che le persone ricercano tali soluzioni che vadano ben oltre la mera funzione. Attraverso l’uso di strumenti quali la ricerca bibliografica, sperimentazioni, raccolta di dati e analisi, si è potuto conseguire gli obbiettivi precedentemente presentati, finalizzando importati osservazioni tecniche-formali e risultati progettuali.
