TRA-MA-RI. IL MARE COME SPAZIO VERTICALE - IL DESIGN EDITORIALE COME STRUMENTO DI VALORIZZAZIONE DELLA PESCA TRADIZIONALE DI MONOPOLI.

The project stems from a desire to document the intangible cultural heritage of traditional fishing in Monopoli - encompassing techniques, tools, and orally transmitted knowledge at risk of vanishing along with the last generations of fishermen who preserve them. The result is *TRA-MA-RI*, an illustrated atlas that organizes sixteen fishing techniques according to the maximum depth at which they are practiced, interpreting the sea as a vertical space and transforming a collection of technical data sheets into a narrative journey.

Il progetto nasce dalla volontà di documentare il patrimonio culturale immateriale della pesca tradizionale di Monopoli - tecniche, strumenti e saperi tramandati oralmente che rischiano di scomparire insieme alle ultime generazioni di pescatori che li custodiscono. L'esito è TRA-MA-RI, un atlante illustrato che organizza sedici tecniche di pesca secondo la profondità massima alla quale vengono praticate, leggendo il mare come uno spazio verticale e trasformando una raccolta di schede tecniche in un percorso narrativo.
