Abstract
The food supplements industry is innovative and has grown exponentially in recent years therefore it is important to analyze the reasons of this success through the customer behavior. After an introductory description, the study of some hypotheses from the literature shows that the phenomenon is more complex than it appears. The research methodology is based on a survey whose dataset, first analyzed univariately, was used to verify the hypotheses by simple and generalized linear regressions. Alternatives have been proposed for the refuted hypotheses and identified discriminating variables that modify what is stated in the literature, with new models that connenct the vision of medicine to the behavior of consumers. The main causes of the change in consumer behaviour have been identified in the distrust in medicine also caused by the covid pandemic of recent years.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
