This thesis aims to deepen the concept of Biomimicry, starting from the definition of Naturaction, that is a broader research field that studies the relationship between man and nature. The topic of Biomimicry will be addressed through a first attention to the differences between bionics and biomimetics. Subsequently, the reader will focus on the main characteristics and considerations related to the design methods and the sustainability of the studied discipline and finally to the the design of a biomimetic material and to the prototyping of a product.

Abstract
This thesis aims to deepen the concept of Biomimicry, starting from the definition of Naturaction, that is a broader research field that studies the relationship between man and nature. The topic of Biomimicry will be addressed through a first attention to the differences between bionics and biomimetics. Subsequently, the reader will focus on the main characteristics and considerations related to the design methods and the sustainability of the studied discipline and finally to the the design of a biomimetic material and to the prototyping of a product.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
