The aim of this thesis work was to realize a phased array system for the levitation and acoustic manipulation of particles. The system consists of 95 transducers in a hexagonal planar configuration and each transducer is driven by a 40 kHz signal with phase resolution up to π/16 and a signal update rate of 30 configurations per second. The transducers are independently controlled with phase-shifted signals. Phase and amplitude of these signals are calculated via software by varying the focal point in real-time and via serial communication they are sent to the Teensy 4.1 microcontroller which, with its FlexIO modules, allows low-level programming of shifters and timers to send outputs to its digital lines the signals with controlled timing so that they are sent to the transducers with the desired frequency. Using only 6 digital lines and the HV582 multi-channel driver it is possible to drive up to 96 channels.

Abstract
Using only 6 digital lines and the HV582 multi-channel driver it is possible to drive up to 96 channels.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
