This thesis focused on the study of ElectroAdhesion contact forces on curved objects using the Gel-Sight technology. The forces are estimated using analytical models (JKR, Hertz) and numerical simulations (FEM on Comsol). The experiments have been conducted through an automated setup consisting of a piezo-actuated moving stage with micrometer resolution and a load cell sensor.

Abstract
This thesis focused on the study of ElectroAdhesion contact forces on curved objects using the Gel-Sight technology. The forces are estimated using analytical models (JKR, Hertz) and numerical simulations (FEM on Comsol). The experiments have been conducted through an automated setup consisting of a piezo-actuated moving stage with micrometer resolution and a load cell sensor.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
