The monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure and buildings now represent a major challenge for the safety of the territory. Traditional visual inspection methods, although well-established, are often time-consuming, subjective and potentially risky for operators. This thesis proposes an integrated methodological workflow that combines the potential of photogrammetric surveying from UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), integrated topographic surveying and Artificial Intelligence algorithms for the automation of the process of identifying and detecting structural degradation. In particular, through the acquisition and processing of a photogrammetric dataset, the aim of this work is to generate a high-resolution orthophoto of a test structure for the identification and mapping of structural anomalies. In addition, an approach using Artificial Intelligence algorithms will also be tested with a comparison linked to the final quality of the data obtained. This mapping will provide fundamental decision-making and operational support for the planning of maintenance interventions and for monitoring the evolution of cracking over time.

Abstract
This mapping will provide fundamental decision-making and operational support for the planning of maintenance interventions and for monitoring the evolution of cracking over time.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
