The thesis aims to establish a topology optimization workflow for an AISI 316L valve body manufactured by L-PBF technology. The initial configuration of the component was lightweighted in nTopology while preserving the structural requirements and manufacturability constraints specific to additive manufacturing. The work concludes with the numerical validation of the obtained solution, thus providing a reusable procedure for industrial applications.

Abstract
The thesis aims to establish a topology optimization workflow for an AISI 316L valve body manufactured by L-PBF technology. The initial configuration of the component was lightweighted in nTopology while preserving the structural requirements and manufacturability constraints specific to additive manufacturing. The work concludes with the numerical validation of the obtained solution, thus providing a reusable procedure for industrial applications.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
