In the present thesis a numerical study on the distortion of AA5754-H32 aluminum alloy sheets caused by laser heat treatment was conducted. Thanks to this study, it has come to realize a FEM model able to predict the distortion angles suffered during a laser heat treatment, after calibration through experimental data. The results show how, by varying the number of laser passes and keeping the area hit by the beam constant, a decrease in the distortion suffered by the treated specimens is obtained.

The results show how, by varying the number of laser passes and keeping the area hit by the beam constant, a decrease in the distortion suffered by the treated specimens is obtained.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
