Experimental analysis and validation of an active electric suspension system that uses a Sky-Hook Ground-Hook control logic to optimize comfort, road holding, and power regenerated by road-induced vibrations. A synchronous linear isotropic motor with permanent magnets is used as suspension, which can follow the force desired by the control logic, varying only the current along the axis in quadrature. It is therefore possible to control the motor current by means of a converter with PI (proportional-integral) controller. The control is tested through an experimental setup of the Hardware in the loop type in which the hardware under the test is the converter and the rest of the setup is used to emulate the electric motor and the mechanical system with the road in input. The mechanical system is modeled with the systems: Quarter car, Half car and Full car. The work shows as a result the value of the harvested power on the different road classes modeled according to ISO 8608, and traveled at different speeds.

Abstract
The work shows as a result the value of the harvested power on the different road classes modeled according to ISO 8608, and traveled at different speeds.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
