UN'ANALISI DI EQUITÀ PER I SISTEMI DI BIKE-SHARING. IL CASO DI STUDIO DELLA CITTÀ DI PISA

The following document contains the collection and development of data necessary for the evaluation of the EQUITY of the bike-sharing transport system, in particular relating to the city of Pisa and the Ciclopi service active since 2012. After having entered all the necessary census data in the QGIS software, the zoning of the aforementioned municipality was carried out and the identification of the stations, and related stalls, currently present in the area. Below, thanks to the help of the MATLAB software, the various LORENZ CURVES and the corresponding GINI indices have been defined, necessary for the evaluation of the more or less equitable distribution of the bike-sharing transport service. Finally, by analyzing the various indices obtained, a proposal was made to improve the system itself through a redistribution of the stalls, so as to allow any resident (of any social class) to use the service.

Il seguente elaborato racchiude la raccolta e lo sviluppo di dati necessari alla valutazione dell’EQUITÀ del sistema di trasporto di bike-sharing, in particolare relativa al comune di Pisa e al servizio Ciclopi attivo dal 2012. Dopo aver inserito tutti i dati di censimento necessari nel software QGIS, si è passati alla zonizzazione del suddetto comune e all’identificazione delle stazioni, e dei relativi stalli, attualmente presenti sul territorio. Di seguito, grazie all’ausilio del software MATLAB, si sono definite le varie CURVE DI LORENZ e i corrispettivi indici GINI , necessari alla valutazione della distribuzione, più o meno equa, del servizio di trasporto bike-sharing. Infine, analizzando i diversi indici ottenuti, è stata effettuata una proposta di miglioramento del sistema stesso tramite una redistribuzione degli stalli, in modo da consentire a qualsiasi residente (di ogni classe sociale) di poter usufruire del servizio.
