The purpose of this final work is to relate about the activities mostly carried on during the internship period at Aston University. In the first section, we will define the global context of our work and the boundaries of this research. Subsequently, the system object of this study, the Fuel Cell will be presented and discomposed in smaller subsystems in order to get a better understanding. Once the system will be fully described, a Symulink model will be presented so that will be easier to control and predict the behavior of the system under given working conditions. Aiming to the optimization of the performance of the system, a metaheuristic algorithm will be used to improve the response of the system at different loading conditions. In the last section the experimental setup, experimental methodology and results, for a Fuel Cells powertrain testing will be presented.

Abstract
The purpose of this final work is to relate about the activities mostly carried on during the internship period at Aston University. In the first section, we will define the global context of our work and the boundaries of this research. Subsequently, the system object of this study, the Fuel Cell will be presented and discomposed in smaller subsystems in order to get a better understanding. Once the system will be fully described, a Symulink model will be presented so that will be easier to control and predict the behavior of the system under given working conditions. Aiming to the optimization of the performance of the system, a metaheuristic algorithm will be used to improve the response of the system at different loading conditions. In the last section the experimental setup, experimental methodology and results, for a Fuel Cells powertrain testing will be presented.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
