This study explores the optimization of the acoustic environment inside a high-performance car through the strategic placement of multiple sound sources. The central objective is to maximize the sound pressure level (SPL) at the driver and passenger listening points, thus improving the immersive quality and distribution of the sound field within the cabin. Using boundary element method (BEM), the research simulates the complex interference phenomena, both constructive and destructive, resulting from the interaction of n sources placed in different configurations. Through a parametric analysis of spatial positions, the study identifies the optimal coordinates for achieving the maximum combined SPL at the occupants' ears. These results provide a robust computational methodology for automotive acoustic design, enabling sound to become a fundamental engineered element for the driving experience.

Abstract
These results provide a robust computational methodology for automotive acoustic design, enabling sound to become a fundamental engineered element for the driving experience.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
