The present thesis work focuses on the study of a system composed of a horizontal-axis wind turbine, an induction electric generator (SEIG), and a Pump As Turbine (PAT) machine integrated within a lifting plant. The system has been modeled in Matlab-Simulink, and the results obtained from the simulations have been analyzed to optimize the performance of the plant.
Il presente lavoro di tesi è incentrato sullo studio di un sistema composto da una turbina eolica ad asse orizzontale, un generatore elettrico a induzione (SEIG) ed una macchina Pump As Turbine (PAT), inserita all'interno di un impianto di sollevamento. Il sistema è stato modellato in Matlab-Simulink e sono stati analizzati i risultati ottenuti dalle simulazioni, al fine di ottimizzare le prestazioni dell’impianto.
