PROGETTAZIONE DI UNO STRUMENTO DI BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE PER LA PREVENZIONE DI FRODI BANCARIE: IL CASO CONQUIST

The general aim of my thesis work is to develop a business intelligence tool that supports a process aimed at preventing banking fraud. In particular, the objective is to create an automation which, starting from the data available to a banking institution, allows the timely identification of potential fraud committed by users. The project was carried out with the company Conquist.srl in collaboration with a local bank, and my contribution was focused on data analysis and the optimization and automation of clustering functions.

Lo scopo generale del mio lavoro di tesi è elaborare uno strumento di business intelligence che supporti un processo finalizzato a prevenire le frodi bancarie. In particolare, l'obiettivo è quello creare un automatismo che, partendo dai dati a disposizione di un istituto bancario, permetta di identificare tempestivamente potenziali frodi commesse dagli utenti. Il progetto è stato realizzato con l’azienda Conquist.srl in collaborazione con una banca del territorio, e il mio contributo è stato focalizzato sull’analisi dei dati e l’ottimizzazione ed automazione delle funzionalità di clusterizzazione.
