In crowd counting, the challenge lies in automatically tallying the number of individuals in a crowded space from a video or image. This thesis work focused on developing a hybrid end-to-end neural network model for crowd counting that leverages the benefits derived from generating density maps. The conducted tests demonstrated how this hybrid approach enhances the performance compared to a standard density map generation model.

Abstract
In crowd counting, the challenge lies in automatically tallying the number of individuals in a crowded space from a video or image. This thesis work focused on developing a hybrid end-to-end neural network model for crowd counting that leverages the benefits derived from generating density maps. The conducted tests demonstrated how this hybrid approach enhances the performance compared to a standard density map generation model.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
