This thesis analyzes the strategies for the conservation and structural restoration of reinforced concrete architectural heritage, focusing on the Salt Refinement Warehouse in Margherita di Savoia. Designed in the first half of the 20th century by Pier Luigi Nervi, the building represents a synthesis of form and structure, now threatened by an advanced state of decay caused by a lack of maintenance and the saline environment in which it is situated. Through a multidisciplinary approach, this research aims to define new conservation paradigms distinct from traditional masonry restoration. The ultimate goal is the repurposing of the structure as a cultural space, ensuring the necessary standards of safety and sustainability without compromising its historical identity and value.
