The objective of this thesis project is to analyse the feasibility of a thermal storage system, based on the use of a water tank, to be coupled with a natural gas micro-cogeneration system. The purpose of the thermal storage system is to support cogeneration during periods of maximum load. The feasibility of the storage is also constrained by the possibility of being able to store energy, i.e. by the fact that there is a surplus between availability and demand during the other time periods. Therefore, given the very close link between the usability of the storage system and the demand of the thermal user, the feasibility analysis and sizing cannot in any way ignore an adequate knowledge of the characteristics of the latter. To complete the work, an analysis was carried out on the cost of installation of the tank and the benefits that can be derived from it.

Abstract
To complete the work, an analysis was carried out on the cost of installation of the tank and the benefits that can be derived from it.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
