The modern industry is constantly evolving, striving to combine technological innovation with human involvement through the adoption of Industry 5.0 technologies. This work addresses the design and simulation of a pneumatic actuator using different implementations of the digital twin. The concept of the digital twin is explored as a tool to improve the design process, reduce development time, and facilitate an efficient virtual commissioning phase. Through the application of advanced simulation platforms, such as Siemens Amesim, the potential of the digital twin is explored for the optimization of mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems in an industrial context. This approach not only accelerates system development but also allows continuous monitoring and improvement of operational performance, enhancing the role of human-machine collaboration.
