The main goal of the thesis work is to develop and validate an innovative method to correctly reproduce the acceleration response of a specific vehicle component, recorded while driving the vehicle on specifically chosen road inputs, by mounting the investigated component on a properly designed frame, and by exciting the component through the action of a monoaxial shaker.
