Abstract
In recent years, the increasing complexity of communication networks has highlighted the need for automated management solutions. Intent-Based Networking (IBN) addresses this challenge by allowing network goals to be expressed through natural language intents. This thesis investigates the integration of IBN with Natural Language Understanding (NLU) techniques, with a particular focus on distinguishing between legitimate and malicious intentions. A chatbot for intent recognition was developed using the Botpress framework and evaluated in realistic interaction scenarios. The results show that the system can correctly identify user requests and detect potential semantic ambiguities, thus supporting a safer and more intelligent network management. This work contributes to the development of more autonomous and adaptive networks that can interpret user intentions effectively.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
