IMPLEMENTAZIONI DI SOLUZIONI DI INDUSTRIA 4.0 NEL PROCESSO PRODUTTIVO: IL CASO STUDIO DELLA PUNTO GOLD SRL

This thesis analyzes the impact of Industry 4.0 on the transformation of production processes in the window and door sector, using the case of Punto Gold S.r.l. as a reference. After an overview of the enabling technologies and their contribution in terms of efficiency and digitalization, the study delves into the comparison between traditional systems and new-generation machinery. The experimental part involves simulating the production cycle using the AnyLogic software, with the aim of evaluating the operational differences between Industry 2.0 and Industry 4.0 technologies. The results show a significant improvement in time and overall productivity thanks to integrated automation.

Questa tesi analizza l’impatto dell’Industria 4.0 sulla trasformazione dei processi produttivi nel settore dei serramenti, prendendo come riferimento il caso della Punto Gold S.r.l. Dopo una panoramica delle tecnologie abilitanti e del loro contributo in termini di efficienza e digitalizzazione, viene approfondito il confronto tra sistemi tradizionali e macchinari di nuova generazione. La parte sperimentale prevede la simulazione del ciclo produttivo tramite il software AnyLogic, con l’obiettivo di valutare le differenze operative tra le tecnologie 2.0 e 4.0. I risultati mostrano un significativo miglioramento nei tempi e nella produttività complessiva grazie all’automazione integrata.
