A literature review and expert opinion enabled the identification of risks affecting furniture companies making a transition to the circular economy. A mathematical method, the Bayesian Network, is presented to quantitatively assess the impact of risks on the adoption of circular economy practices and the influence of mitigation strategies on these risks. This method is also very helpful for decision-making in companies undertaking this important transition to a more sustainable production model.
