This thesis investigates grouding techniques in DC electrical systems, analyzing their role in ensuring the safety and reliability of modern power systems. After providing an overview of the primary applications of direct currenti, the study examines grouding configurations, converter behavior, and ground fault scenarios. A dedicated section explores earthing schemes in DC microgrids. Finally, the theoretical concepts are applied to an experimental demonstrator, highlighting the critical importance of proper grounding system design.

Abstract
This thesis investigates grouding techniques in DC electrical systems, analyzing their role in ensuring the safety and reliability of modern power systems. After providing an overview of the primary applications of direct currenti, the study examines grouding configurations, converter behavior, and ground fault scenarios. A dedicated section explores earthing schemes in DC microgrids. Finally, the theoretical concepts are applied to an experimental demonstrator, highlighting the critical importance of proper grounding system design.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
