The current environmental, economic, and regulatory landscape demands a profound evolution within the construction sector, steering it decisively toward the principles of sustainability and the circular economy. Indeed, the building industry continues to account for a critical impact, being responsible for approximately 36% of greenhouse gas emissions and over a third of all waste generated in the European Union due to the persistence of linear production models and difficult-to-reverse technologies. The main objective of this research is to define a green cover for the E-Wall modular construction system by Blokko S.r.l., engineered to function both as a high-performance living wall and as a design element. Through a structured methodological approach, the study first analyzes the state of the art in vertical greening systems, then examines the material and constructive characterization of this innovative modular system, and ultimately proceeds to technical validation. Finally, the research finds its practical application in the case study of the former "Caserma Magrone" in Bari. The field application demonstrates the efficacy, integration flexibility, and tangible benefits of the proposed technology.

Abstract
The field application demonstrates the efficacy, integration flexibility, and tangible benefits of the proposed technology.I documenti in UNITESI sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
